This site, which provides online information resources for the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, presents a well-developed “Resources by Subject” link for computer science information. Open access information materials, such as encyclopedias and dictionaries relating to computing and computers, are provided as well as links to computing journals, organizations, and software and language sites
Open Directory Project (DMOZ)
Formerly described as “the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web.” The directory is divided into broad subject headings, and then subdivided into smaller, more in-depth topics. Thousands of computer science sites are available and all are linked from the DMOZ directory. Unfortunately the original site is no longer maintained. However a mirror is available at the link above.
