Hours:

Sunday 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 10:00pm
Friday 7:30am -   4:00pm
Saturday   CLOSED

Interim and Holiday hours will be posted here.

 

Circulation Desk services are available until fifteen (15) minutes prior to library closing.

Food and Drink Policy

Food is not allowed in the public areas of Roberts-LaForge Library or the Instructional Resources Center.

Beverages in appropriate containers are allowed inside the building; however, drinks may not be consumed near library computers or equipment.

  Containers with a lid or cap designed to minimize spillage. Travel mugs with lids, sports bottles, and water bottles with screw-on or pop-up  tops are preferred examples.

  Open Containers without a lid or cap. Glassware, mugs, tumblers, and cups without lids (paper, plastic, styrofoam, etc.) are not allowed in     the building.

Circulation Policies

Pin Number

You will be asked to enter your PIN when logging into the "Off-Campus Login" and "My Library Account."

To obtain your PIN number

1. Log in to your "My Library Account."

2. Click on the "Forgot my PIN" link.

3. Click on the link from the resulting email.

CIRCULATION SERVICES

 

Reserves

  • A list of materials that each professor has placed on reserve is available at the Circulation Desk. 
  • Reserve materials are checked out through the Circulation Desk and must be used in the library.  

Faculty can fill out the form below and email it to Circulation_Group@deltastate.edu
or drop the form and the requested item off at the Circulation Department. 

 

Photocopy Machines

  • Photocopy machines are available in three locations:
    • 1st Floor  -  Reference Department and IRC
    • 2nd Floor  -  near the Serials/Interlibrary Loan desk
  • The charge is $0.10 per page. 
  • Photocopiers do not accept cash – only Okra Kards and purchased Visitor Cards.

Holds

  • Holds may be placed on books using the online catalog.

  • Patrons will be notified by email when the book is available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.

 

Dancing Rabbit Library Consortium

  • DSU borrowers in good standing may request a Dancing Rabbit Library Consortium Borrowing Card. 
  • This card will enable users to obtain borrowing cards at most libraries in Northwest Mississippi.

Mississippi Library Partnership Consortium

  • DSU students, faculty, and staff in good standing may borrow materials from any of the member libraries.
  • When you borrow from another library, circulation periods and fines may be different from those of your home library.
  • Depending upon transportation schedules, items may take up to fifteen days to arrive.

 

Pay-For-Print

  • Printing costs $0.10 per page and must be paid for with an Okra Kard or Visitor Card.

 

Visitor Cards

  • DSU students, faculty, and staff may use their Okra Kard (Okra Green Anywhere funds) to pay for printing, fines, and photocopying.
  • If you do not have an Okra Kard, you may purchase a Visitor Card for $1.00 at the Card Value Center located in the Reference Department.
  • Value must be added to the Visitor Cards and Okra Kards before they can be used.
